The mission never shows how it is supposed to turn out.

So what am I meant to do?
In the first missions you do not have to leave them on their own. Open the mission together, read the short brief, get the materials ready. Then leave the idea to them.
Instead of "draw a house" ask "what do you see here?"
The better they understand how Barti works, the less you are needed: after two or three missions, most children open the mission by themselves.
