Terms and Conditions of sale

1. Who we are

playbarti.com is operated by Chirali Bahar, registered at Strada Gualdo Centro 6, 05035 Narni (TR), Italy, VAT number IT01759710559, email contact@playbarti.com.

2. What we sell

Barti sells printable creative missions in PDF format for children aged 6 to 12, individually or in packs. Each mission includes the child's sheet and a guide for the grown-up; the Classroom licence also includes a page for use in class. Missions are supplied in the language of the site you buy them on. Some PDFs are free and are sent by email.

3. Licences: what you may do with the PDFs

Family licence. You may print the mission as many times as you like for the children in your family, for private, non-commercial use.

Classroom licence. The teacher or educator who buys it may print, photocopy and display the mission for the children in their own groups or classes, including in later years, for non-commercial use: at school, in an educational setting or for homeschooling. The licence is personal: it does not cover the whole school or other colleagues, who can buy their own licence.

Workshop licence (commercial use). The Family and Classroom licences do not cover paid activities: workshops, classes, parties, holiday clubs or events run by cafés, play centres, associations or other businesses. These need a Workshop licence, sold on every mission and pack next to the other licences, on the following terms:

Duration: one month from the date of purchase. You renew it by buying it again; a few days before it ends we e-mail you a reminder.
One address: the licence covers activities held at a single address of the business that buys it. Each further address needs its own licence.
Printing: while the licence is valid you may print the mission without limit, only for the children taking part in activities at your address. Each child may take their own sheet home.
Not allowed: sending, sharing or distributing the PDF to anyone else (online, to customers, or to other venues or businesses), or handing printed copies to people who do not take part in the activities.
When it ends: you may no longer print new copies or use the mission in your activities. Sheets already handed to children while the licence was valid remain theirs; printed copies not yet handed out may not be used after the licence ends unless you renew it.

Under any licence you may not resell the PDFs, share them online (for example on websites, social media, public shared folders or teaching-resource marketplaces) or modify them to distribute as your own. The texts, illustrations, the Barti character and trade marks remain the property of Chirali Bahar.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown next to each product and in the basket, and are final prices: in pounds sterling on the English site, in euro on the Italian site. Payment takes place on Stripe's secure page, using the methods offered there; we never see or store your card details. If your card uses another currency, the conversion is made by your bank or by Stripe. For a receipt or an invoice addressed to a school, write to contact@playbarti.com with the details needed.

5. Delivery

As soon as the payment is confirmed you see the download page and receive an email with the same link. The link is personal and stays active for 30 days: we recommend saving the PDFs to your device. If the link has expired or the email has not arrived, write to us and we will send a new one.

6. Right to cancel

The PDFs are digital content supplied immediately after payment. Before you pay, we ask you to confirm expressly that you want to download them straight away and to acknowledge that, once the download starts, you lose the 14-day right to cancel that consumers otherwise have (UK: Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, reg. 37; EU/Italy: art. 59(o) Codice del Consumo). Without this confirmation you cannot proceed to payment.

This does not affect your rights if the product is faulty: if a file will not open, is incomplete or does not match its description, write to us within a reasonable time and we will replace it or, if that is not possible, refund you.

7. Safety during activities

Missions may involve everyday materials and tools (for example scissors, glue and paints). Supervising children during the activities is the responsibility of the accompanying adult — parent, teacher or educator — who judges whether each material and tool is suitable for the children's age and ability and offers a safer alternative where needed. To the extent permitted by law, Chirali Bahar is not responsible for injuries or damage to property occurring during the activities.

8. Liability

We work to keep the website available and secure, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the purchase concerned. Nothing in these terms limits the statutory rights of consumers.

9. Personal data

How we handle your data is described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; each purchase is governed by the version published at the time.

11. Governing law and disputes

The contract is governed by Italian law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence. If anything goes wrong, please write to contact@playbarti.com first: we always look for a friendly solution.
