The Not-So-Scary Mascot
A creature that gives you a little shiver becomes the funny Halloween mascot.
What the child does
Your child picks a creature that gives them a little shiver, a spider, a bat or a made-up monster, and turns it into the official Halloween mascot using funny tricks: shrinking it, giving it huge shoes, giving it a strange hobby. Then they give it a name and a job for Halloween night. A playful way to discover that a small fear can be met with a laugh.
